Korra, not having known Jinora to really be the cuddly type, is rather surprised by this display of affection. Mako is holding his shin, and it’s surprisingly satisfying to see. Korra puts a hand on Jinora’s head and hugs the girl back, a smile on her face.

“Thanks, Jinora.”

OOC: We have officially driven ourselves to insanity. We tried our hand at photoshop so we could try out the Makorra kiss meme with our personal headcanon (that Bosami is going to happen and Mako will walk in on the kiss like Bolin did on the Makorra kiss).

Didn’t go as planned.

It ended with all of us arguing and freaking out and a lot of ‘OMG JUST QUIT THE APPLICATION’. 

Mako coughs into his hand.

Bolin shakes his head. “For his sake, I hope not,” he glances to his brother with an amused look on his face.

Korra breathes a sigh and steadies her features to a calm look. “No,” she answers simply. “I’m pretty sure he’s made his choice,” she says, an icy undertone to her words.

She can’t wait around for him forever.

Korra blows out a breath between her teeth. “Honestly, I have no clue. I don’t really think it matters,” she shrugs thoughtfully.

OOC: I didn’t know that! Thanks! Though now I must admit feel like a bit of a moron, heh. I probably should’ve checked first. Major facepalm.

Mako’s eyes narrow - not because he’s irritated (though they do that when he is) - but because he’s genuinely confused. “Uh … what now?”

Bolin grabs Mako and Korra each with a single arm and grins. “Living on the island is gonna be great! We’re finally gonna get to meet those awesome airbender kids, and have sleepovers and play earthball all day long!” Bolin exclaims cheerfully, “It’s gonna be the best!”

Mako sighs, frowning so that lines form on his brow. “Her picture had been all over the news. There was no way the equalists wouldn’t recognize her. We were out of options— out of time,” he adds quickly. “Bolin was in trouble; I didn’t have time to analyze the hidden meanings of simple actions,” he snaps cynically.

Mako’s brows go up, and he glances to his brother - initially wondering if Bolin is acquainted with the hobo in the crowd. He also wonders how this man got into the press conference. Bolin has his head tilted, confused.

Korra, on the other hand, laughs out, giving a greeting wave. “Oh, wow, long time no see … uh … sorry I didn’t catch your name?” she gives a guilty grin. “I’ll definitely take you up on that fish roast though. Police notwithstanding.”

Mako coughs awkwardly into his hand. “Actually, yeah,” he answers slowly, “Knowing Korra can actually, physically throw me is a little … disconcerting,” he admits, glancing to her - and she’s smirking, he notices - before he points out, quickly, “And I wasn’t grinning because she threw me, I was grinning because of the look on Tahno’s face.”
